Commentary: 36th Security Forces trains Department of Agriculture Published Sept. 23, 2024 By 36th Security Forces 36th Security Forces ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam -- The Department of Agriculture is proud to announce recently attained training certifications by Conservation Officers in the Law Enforcement Division. This training was done with a collaborative effort with the United States Air Force 36th Security Forces Squadron from Andersen AFB. On August 11, 2024, Conservation Officers and Reserve Conservation Officers in the Civilian Volunteer Conservation Officer Program (CVCORP) in conjunction with the Training Section, 36th Security Forces Squadron, Andersen AFB, Guam recently completed the “Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle Basic Driver Course” (RBDC). The Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle Basic Driver Course consisted of Two Phases: Phase I – Completion of the On-Line ROHVA (Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle Association), ROV (Recreational Off-highway Vehicle) E-Course. Phase II – Practicum – ROV Basic Driver Course. Training certification was conducted by 36 SFS Instructors. The RBDC is part of the continuing efforts of the Law Enforcement Division to enhance overall training for its Conservation Officers. Conservation Officers patrol Terrestrial Areas and Marine Coastal and Water Areas to protect our natural resources for us all.
