554th REDHORSE plant flower luminaries for Guam Liberation Day Published July 11, 2024 By Airman 1st Class Natasha Ninete ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam -- The island is preparing for the 80th Guam Liberation Day celebration. Airmen from the 554 Red Horse Squadron worked with the Sinajaña Mayor’s Office to plant over 3,000 flower luminaries into a static display of the shape of Guam. The flowers represent the lives lost during the liberation of Guam and will come together to display pictures and other visuals that commemorate this pivotal time in history.
