36th Civil Engineer Squadron Change of Command

On June 28, 2024, the 36th Civil Engineer Squadron performed their change of command ceremony. This ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility from one commander to a new commander. The new commander of the 36th CES is Lt. Col. Adam Burwinkle received his commission from the United States Air Force Academy in 2007, and served a variety of positions in Prime BEEF and Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineers Civil Engineer units in addition to serving as an instructor at The Civil Engineer School at the Air Force Institute of Technology. Previously, he was also was the commander of the 355th Civil Engineer Squadron at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona.
