This ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility from one commander to a new commander. The new commander of the 356th EPBS is Maj. Cody Beemer. Beemer received his commission from the Reserve Officer Training Corps in 2014 and prior to this assignment, he was Deputy Requirements Branch Chief, Air Force Installation Mission Support Center Detachment 2, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI.
