ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam --

Operation Christmas Drop is the Department of Defense’s longest-running humanitarian airlift operation which consists of packaging and delivering donated supplies such as food, fishing equipment, schoolbooks and clothing to more than 20,000 islanders across 58 remote islands throughout the Pacific. This mission provides goods and items for residents of the Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of Palau while also boosting relations with allied nations and partners.
