SecAF visits Andersen AFB Published Aug. 24, 2022 By Airman Spencer Perkins 36th Wing Public Affairs ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam -- Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall and his team visited Airmen and Guardians at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam to learn about the wing’s mission, the strategic importance of the base, and recognize outstanding performers Aug. 19, 2022. Over the past year, Andersen Airmen and Guardians have been front and center in executing Agile Combat Employment operations and integrated bomber, tanker, and joint fighter aircraft missions over the South China Sea. These missions demonstrate the ability to rapidly project airpower and expand combat capability across this vast region, in concert with partners and allies to ensure a free and open Indo-Pacific.
