Andersen Airman Identified Published May 1, 2018 By 36th Wing Public Affairs 36th Wing Public Affairs ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam -- An Airman who was pronounced dead April 29, 2018, has been identified as Staff Sgt. Desmond Hanley, assigned to the 36th Mobility Response Squadron here. Hanley was found unresponsive at the Port of Guam in Agat early Sunday morning and was pronounced dead at Naval Hospital Guam at 3:58 a.m.“We all grieve for this Airman and his family,” said Brig. Gen. Douglas Cox, 36th Wing commander. “Losing any member of our team is hard to accept. Our team will pull together and support those most deeply affected by this difficult event.”The cause of death is still under investigation and details will be released as soon as they become available.
