Senior Leaders from Andersen Air Force Base express condolences at Lt Col. (Ret.) Chuck McManus’ funeral at the Guam Veterans Cemetery April 26, 2017, in Piti, Guam. McManus was directly involved with Linebacker II and he was the deputy director of plans at Andersen AFB. Linebacker II was an intensive bombing campaign in December 1972 ordered by President Richard Nixon to persuade the North Vietnamese to return to the Paris peace talks.
