Team Andersen Linebackers

Linebacker of the Week collage graphic created at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Nov. 14, 2025. The graphic was developed to show appreciation for service members who were recognized amid the 2025 Government Shutdown for their outstanding performance during their time at Andersen. The term Linebacker pays homage to Operation Linebacker II, which took place Dec. 18, 1972 where B-52s from Andersen flew round-the-clock bombing missions over North Vietnam to destroy major targets in Hanoi and Haiphong in an effort to bring the Democratic Republic of Vietnam back to negotiations.
