A spoon marks the spot where a baby watermelon grows in Andersen's Community Garden on Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Sept. 14, 2024. The community garden initiative on Andersen has seen a recent uptick in interest from both squadrons and families. In conjunction with Andersen's Fruit Tree Program, 36th Wing leadership hopes to create a community that is able to grow enough fruits and vegetables in abundance to create a culture of health and generosity.
