The village of Yona pays their respects at the Mañenggon and Asinan Memorials
U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Peter Choi, commander of the 36th Civil Engineer Squadron, and Chief Master Sgt. Keval Smith, senior enlisted leader of the 36 CES, watch a fountain ceremony being performed during the Mañenggon Memorial ceremony at the Mañenggon Valley in Yona on July 3, 2022. Choi and Smith are in attendance of the ceremony as representatives for the sister village sister squadron program, which pairs military units with local villages to foster and develop a program of mutual sharing and understanding between the people of Guam and military personnel and their families.
