What hurts one affects all
An average of 20 people per minute are victims of abuse by an intimate partner in the United States. Domestic violence is the willful intimidation, physical assault, battery, sexual assault, or other abusive behavior as part of a systematic pattern of power and control perpetrated by one intimate partner against another. October is nationally recognized as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
