554th RED HORSE Airmen pave the way for Silver Flag

Airmen from the 554th RED HORSE Squadron float concrete Sept. 18, 2013, at the mock runway training area on Northwest Field, Guam. As part of the Silver Flag Training Facility movement from Kadena Air Base, Japan, to Guam, the mock runway is currently under construction to provide an area to train and evaluate tasks involving operations of emergency airfield lighting systems, airfield marking, mobile aircraft arresting systems and airfield damage after attack survey.
