Pacific civic leaders take first-hand look at Andersen?s mission
Airman 1st Class Kendal Allen, 554th RED HORSE Squadron, provides instructions as Pactrick Doyle, President and Publisher of Anchorage Daily News, Alaska, operates a backhoe June 26. Civic leaders from Guam, Hawaii and Alaska toured Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Elmendorf and Eielson AFBs, Alaska, and Hickam AFB, Hawaii, during a five day regional tour covering 10,000 miles to show the group how Air Force base contributes to the Pacific theater.
