I Can Save My Own Life

ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam -- In an effort to re-enforce the need for personal resonsibility, Brig. Gen. Doug Owens, 36th Wing commander, instituted an "I Can Save My Own Life" campaign. The campain encourages Airmen to consider all their actions, whether on-duty or off-duty, before taking them. This coupled with the Wingman concept is intended to reduce the number of safety-related incidents on Andersen. Each person assigned to Andersen is issued a Team Andersen Words to Live By card which features the "I Can Save My Own Life" campaign. (Graphic by Tech. Sgt. Brian Bahret)
