Andersen Air Force Base hosts Breast Cancer Awareness Month activity

ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam –Lina Ruhlman, wife of 36th Wing Commander Brig. Gen. Phil Ruhlman, shares her story of her personal fight against cancer with attendees at a Breast Cancer Awareness Open House at the 36th Medical Group clinic Oct. 20. Mrs. Ruhlman said despite living a healthy lifestyle, she was diagnosed with breast cancer more than three years ago. She attributed early detection and annual exams as key factors in her recovery.
