Can't cancel this job for weather
The “game doesn’t get called for weather” if you’re an aircraft maintainer. Their job involves working in a variety of conditions to ensure America’s tip of the spear forces, our strategic bombers, are always mission capable. These maintainers are waiting to service their deployed B-52s while at the same time enduring one of Guam’s torrential downpours. “As hard as we work though, (I enjoy) knowing that when that jet takes off full of bombs, a convoy or patrol is safe with a B-52 that I pre-flighted and launched,” said Senior Airman Jason Stephens, 36th EAMXS.
