Patrolling cyberspace

Senior Airman Jonathan Odum, 36th Communications Squadron, fixes a computer that will eventually go on the Andersen computer network. Airman Odum, deployed here as an Air Force Reservist from Ohio, is part of a special group of Airmen that are charged with the critical task of protecting Andersen’s cyberspace against intruders. Airman Odum and his fellow communications specialists operate under the “best defense is an aggressive offense” strategy and take steps every day to make the local communications networks here a hard target.
