ANDERSEN'S BEST SALAS
Staff Sgt. Daisy Salas (center), 36th Contingency Response Group, was awarded Andersen’s Best here May 25. Sergeant Salas leads a 13-person team, deployable to 42 countries in the Pacific Command’s area of responsibility. She provided security for the Pacific Air Forces commander, General Gary North’s visit to Bangladesh, and led the squadron’s Compliance Inspection preparation, leading to the wing’s only “Outstanding” rating. Additionally, Sergeant Salas performs duties as a jumpmaster for 36 CRG Airborne Operations, one of three 36 CRG jumpmasters. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Carlin Leslie)
