Gov. Eddie Baza Calvo of Guam discusses range distance with Maj. Gen. Raymond Fox, the commanding general of the Marine Corps’ Training and Education Command, during his visit to Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., March 2, 2011. Calvo visited the base to tour the multiple ranges that can be utilized on Guam once Marines relocate there from Okinawa, Japan. The live fire ranges planned for construction on Guam are a known distance (KD) rifle range, KD pistol range, 1000m automated multi-purpose machinegun (MPMG) range, modified record firing range (MRFR), 100m non-standard small arms range and live hand grenade range.
