Colonel SHAUN PARKER

Colonel Shaun C. Parker is the Commander of the 36th Mission Support
Group, 36th Wing, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam which provides
essential mission support to the largest air base in PACAF, including 9,000
military, civilian, dependent and retired personnel. The group controls all
base support operations encompassing engineering, communications and
information, contracting, logistics readiness, security forces and force
support which includes manpower, personnel and legacy services functions
and operational responsibilities for 36th Wing assets in Diego Garcia.

Colonel Parker earned his commission from the University of South Florida
ROTC program in 2003. He is a career logistics officer with
experience across a spectrum of base level, Major Command, Joint Task
Force, and Special Operations. Prior to his current assignment, he served
at the Pentagon as the Military Deputy to the Deputy Assistant Secretary
of Defense for Logistics.

Colonel Parker deployed over four years to Iraq, Afghanistan, Central
America, and Africa. Additionally, He has served on the Secretary of
the Air Force and Chief of Staff of the Air Force’s Strategic Execution
Group, supporting the Department of the Air Force’s Force Design
efforts and overcoming Contested Logistics.
