Colonel MATTHEW DROSSNER

Col Matthew S. Drossner is Commander of the 36th Maintenance Group, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. As Commander, he is directly responsible for overseeing all aircraft maintenance and munitions support for the 36th Wing.

Col Drossner is Commander of the 36th Maintenance Group, Andersen AFB, Guam. He directs the activities of three permanent and multiple deployed squadrons, and he ensures the 36th Maintenance Group provides a full range of aircraft and munitions maintenance support for contingency, exercise, and peacetime missions operating out of Andersen AFB to meet US Pacific Command objectives. He also ensures the effective and safe operation of the largest war reserve materiel munitions stockpile in the US Air Force.

Colonel Drossner was commissioned in 2001 as an Officer Training School graduate at Maxwell AFB, Alabama. He is a munitions and aircraft maintenance officer with experience in nuclear and conventional munitions maintenance,cruise missile maintenance and B-52 aircraft maintenance. Additionally, he is an experienced Staff Officer with multiple tours at the Major Command and Headquarters Air Staff levels. Prior to his current assignment, he was assigned as the Chief of the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile and Helicopter Maintenance Division, Headquarters Air Force Global Strike Command, Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana.
