  • 14 IS Airmen perform funeral honors for WWII vet

    Three 14th Intelligence Squadron reservists conducted funeral honors for one of their own Oct. 23, 2021. John “Jerry” Johnson passed away Oct. 19 at the age of 98 and had served in Guam during World War II with the Army Air Corps in the 20th Air Force 9th Photographic Technical Squadron. His squadron ultimately became the 14 IS.
  • Team Andersen host First Sergeant symposium

    Members of Team Andersen participated in a First Sergeant symposium at Andersen Air Force Base, Oct. 25, 2021. Team Andersen First Sergeants held a First Sergeant symposium to provide insight to a select group of noncommissioned officers and senior noncommissioned officers on their way to the First Sergeant duty position. The symposium was held to better prepare participants on how to respond with appropriate resources when helping Airmen and how to be better equipped when advising commanders. (courtesy photo)

    The Civic Action Team Palau is continuing a longstanding relationship with the Republic of Palau. This partnership is not only helping the island of Palau flourish but is an essential part of maintaining a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
  • Missile Defender of the Year 2021

    The Missile Defense Advocacy Alliance held the 2021 Guam Missile Defender of the Year Award Ceremony. The event honored Air and Missile Defenders from Task Force Talon and Andersen AFB. These Soldiers, Airman, and Marine demonstrated outstanding leadership excellence in air and missile defense in 2021 and directly contributed to the security of the United States homeland and allies in the Indo-Pacific.
  • 736 SFS conducts Redeployment Training Course

    The 736th Security Forces Squadron conducted a redeployment training course for SF members from all over the Air Force. The students were taken out to the Combat Arms Training and Maintenance range to conduct stress firing after being put through vigorous workouts and scenarios. (U.S. Air Force video by Staff Sgt.   • Andersen AFB supports ACE Reaper

    For the first time ever, an MQ-9 Reaper, from the 53rd Wing at Eglin AFB, Florida and assigned to the 556th Test and Evaluation Squadron at Creech Air Force Base, Nevada, flew to Andersen AFB, Guam from Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii in support of Exercise Ace Reaper.
