  • Airmen arrive on Tinian for Pacific Iron 21

    U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 366th Fighter Wing from Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, arrive on Tinian July 27, 2021, to conduct Pacific Iron 2021. Approximately 800 Airmen and 35 aircraft are participating in Pacific Air Forces’ dynamic force employment operation July 11 to Aug. 8, 2021, in Guam and Tinian to project forces into the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command’s area of responsibility in support of the 2018 National Defense Strategy, calling on the military to be a more lethal, adaptive and resilient force.

    A team of weather systems maintainers from the 557th Weather Wing’s 2nd Combat Weather Systems Squadron traveled from Hurlburt Field, Florida, to Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, July 5-15 to install a Portable Doppler Radar weather system.
  • 412th TEC’s DCP 1 Preps for International Mission

    The 412th Theater Engineer Command’s (TEC) Deployable Command Post (DCP) 1 prepares for an international mission unlike any other. DCP 1 Soldiers, partnered with United States Marines and Airmen from the 36th Medical Group, and other foreign servicemembers, assembled at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, 16-18 July, for pre-exercise tasks and operations.
