Andersen receives B-52 Stratofortress

ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam -- A B-52 Stratofortress from Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, arrived June 2, at Andersen AFB, Guam. The aircraft is deployed in support of U.S. Pacific Command’s Continuous Bomber Presence operations. This forward deployed presence demonstrates continuing U.S. commitment to stability and security in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region. The U.S. military has maintained a deployed strategic bomber presence in the Pacific since March 2004, which has contributed significantly to regional security and stability.
