OCD 23 flies with international observers

U.S. Air Force aerial porters from the 81st Aerial Port Squadron (APS), Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina, and the 44th APS from Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, work alongside 36th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron loadmasters to load a U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules with bundles of humanitarian aid during Operation Christmas Drop 2023 (OCD 23) at Andersen AFB, Guam, Dec. 6, 2023. OCD is the Department of Defense’s longest-running humanitarian airlift operation which consists of packaging and delivering donated supplies such as food, fishing equipment, schoolbooks and clothing to more than 20,000 islanders across 58 remote islands throughout the Pacific.
