U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Stephen Smith, 36th Wing chief of safety, talks Agile Combat Employment, Defense Force Employment, Andersen Air Force Base, and aircraft capabilities during a take-off viewing day for exercise Cope North 22, Feb. 9, 2022, at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. Exercise Cope North is the U.S. Pacific Air Forces’ largest multilateral exercise and includes more than 2, 500 U.S. Airmen, Marines, and Sailors working alongside 1,000 combined Japan Air Self-Defense Force and Royal Australian Air Force counterparts.
