Team Andersen participates in 69th Guam Liberation Day Parade
A joint color guard, comprised of service members from various guard and Reserve units stationed on the island, pass the 69th Guam Liberation Day parade grand stand in Hagåtña, Guam, July 21, 2013. Formations of active-duty service members, guardsmen and reservists, including more than 140 Airmen from the 36th Wing, led the parade down the 1.2-mile route past thousands of spectators. The parade commemorated the United States freeing the island from imperial Japan’s control during the Second Battle of Guam, which began July 21, 1944, and lasted 21 days.
