Munitions, Barksdale AFB, 96th EBS

Andersen Air Force Base, Guam -- Airman First Class Casey Carrano, A1C Jason Morris and SrA Tyler Mann load several M117 bombs on a truck for transportation. The 36th Munitions Squadron is building 270 free-fall, unguided, general purpose 750-pound M117 bombs that will eventually be loaded on a B-52 Stratofortress jet. In a conventional conflict, the B-52 can carry nuclear or precision guided conventional ordnance with worldwide precision navigation capability. A1C Carrano is with the 36th Munitions Squadron.
