A subject matter expert, speaker and advocate for victims of sexual assault, will speak to Airmen here regarding the dynamics of sexual assault on Oct. 30.

Anne Munch is delivering two separate presentations at the Sunrise conference center pertaining to sexual assault, with the first titled "Sexual Assault Dynamics" geared for unit leaders. This briefing is mandatory for senior NCOs and commanders. All officers are highly encouraged to attend. The second briefing, held at 2 p.m., is titled "Meeting the Consent Defense" and is geared for sexual assault first responders such as victim advocates, Air Force Office of Special Investigations representatives, Security Forces, the judge advocate office, mental health, chaplains and first sergeants. Munch is an attorney with 25 years of experience as a career prosecutor for domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking offenders.

"We are very lucky to have Anne Munch come to Guam," said 1st Lt. Diana Wong, 36th Wing Sexual Assault Response Coordinator. "This isn't her first time here but she always brings something new to the table."

Munch shares her experience and knowledge with the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy. She has worked extensively on the development of the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response programs in the military.
