A B-52 Stratofortress navigated by Lt. Col. Steve Smith, 93rd Bomb Squadron from Barksdale Air Force Base, La., lands Oct. 8, 2014, at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. Smith reached the 9,000 flying-hour mark, leaving him with the most flying hours in a B-52H; the next aviator is 2,000 hours behind him.
