Task Force Talon Mission

 

We pride ourselves on being a well-trained and disciplined organization that

employs the best technology with the most competent professionals.  We are

ready to protect U.S. Homeland assets on Guam TONIGHT.  We are focused on

the mission, we take care of Soldiers and  their families, and ensure every

member of the organization is a respected and contributing member of the

Guam community.

 

Task Force Talon deters, and if deterrence fails, neutralizes TBM threats to

Guam in order to support USPACOM Regional Homeland Defense.

Organization Day is meant to integrate Soldiers and their families so that they can mingle, relax and participate in wholesome, recreational activities.
Soldiers from Task Force Talon, E-3 THAAD, and Task Force Wolf celebrated the 243rd Army Birthday with a run, cake cutting ceremony, and social. The new Task Force Talon Logo was unveiled during the cake cutting ceremony.
The Commanding General of Andersen AFB, GEN Cox, hands over the responsibility to GEN Boswell. Task Force Talon was there to represent.
BG (P) Sean Gainey of the 94th AAMDC presents the safety streamer to E-3 THAAD during a Chaplain sponsored BBQ. In addition, SPC Tyler Currie recieves the USO Award for Army Soldier of the Year.
WATCH as The 94th Army Air and Missile Defense Command competitors navigate through an obstacle course. The obstacle course is an event part of the Noncommissioned Officer and Soldier of the Year competition. The competition will test the competitors aptitude by conquering board interviews, physical fitness tests, written exams, and Warrior tasks and battle drills relevant to today’s operating environment.
Medic! Competitors particpating in The 94th Army Air and Missile Defense Command Noncommissioned Officer and Soldier of the Year competition perform medical aid on a simulated causality. During the competition, the Soldiers will test their physical and mental endurance and the winners will advance to the U.S. Army Pacific NCO and Soldier of the year competition scheduled for June.

Watch as competitors from The 94th Army Air and Missile Defense Command Noncommissioned Officer and Soldier of the Year maneuver through the dense wooded terrain during a land navigation course. Congrats to SSG McNair, now SFC McNair. He is our audio/video/communications/technology expert at Task Force Talon.
SPC David Storie is a recent graduate of the Air Force Leadership School in Guam. The program is designed to develop Airmen into effective front-line supervisors. It is the first professional military education (PME) that enlisted Air Force members encounter.
National Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM) is observed each year during the month of April to raise awareness and educate communities on the prevention of sexual assault. All members of the Army team are empowered and have a responsibility to address sexual assault, sexual harassment, retaliation and the behaviors that lead to such indiscipline so they do not detract from mission readiness. Army leaders are responsible for ensuring a values-based prevention climate free of sexual assault, sexual harassment and retaliation. By doing so, they protect the well-being of the Soldiers, Army Civilians and Family Members under their responsibility and reinforce values of dignity and respect.
Range Day. Soldiers participate in M16 as well as M9 qualification in 90° heat.
Payday Activities sometimes include an In-Ranks Inspection of the Army Service Uniform. Approximately 75 Soldiers participated in the event. The event was followed by a professional development class and then an early release to spend time with family.
Soldiers from Task Force Talon conduct mobility operations in support of 35th BDE in Korea. Thanks to Guam Police Department for the escort from Andersen AFB to Naval Base Guam.
