U.S. conducts bilateral missions with Japan, Republic of Korea

A U.S. Air Force B-1B Lancer assigned to the 9th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron, deployed from Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, flys a 10-hour mission from Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, in the vicinity of Kyushu, Japan, the East China Sea, and the Korean peninsula, operating with the Japan Air Self-Defense Force and Republic of Korea Air Force, June 20, 2017. These sequenced flights with Japan and the Republic of Korea demonstrate the solidarity and resolve we share with our allies, South Korea and Japan, to preserve peace and security in the Indo-Asia-Pacific.
