Staff Sgt. David Andrews and Airman 1st Class Cheri Alsip, both from the 393rd Expeditionary Bomber Squadron, pilot their creation dubbed USS Fat Chance toward the finish line in the cardboard boat race here during Team Andersen Challenge Dec. 14. The participants were required to make their craft from nothing but cardboard and duct tape. Sergeant Andrews and Airman Alsip finished third overall and were surprised their vessel showed very little signs of leakage or water damage. However, both Airmen opted not to trade their wings for sails, retired Fat Chance after the voyage, and declined all offers to test Fat Chance in the Pacific Ocean. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Steven Wilson)
