Tech. Sgt. Sharnta Bullard, 36th Medical Operations Squadron, was awarded Team Andersen's Best here, Feb. 9.

Sergeant Bullard has filled the non-commissioned officer in charge 36 MOS Ambulance Services over the last three months due to the assigned NCOIC deploying. Being her first NCOIC role, Sergeant Bullard has handled her new leadership role like a seasoned expert working through multiple manning challenges, Joint Region Marianas nuances and expanding 24/7 mission EMS capability to a paramedic level standard of care.

"She displays the confidence needed to face the toughest leadership challenges with a smile and positive 'can do' attitude," said Maj. Dana Baker, 36 MOS Flight Medicine and Ambulance Services element chief.

All these feats have been accomplished while filling the manning gaps working 24-hour shifts at the Fire Department. Impressively, her NCOIC responsibilities, leadership influence, command and control of an ever-changing environment have never faltered.

Andersen's Best is a recognition program which highlights a top performer from the 36th Wing. Each week, supervisors nominate a member of their team for outstanding performance and the wing commander presents the selected Airman/Civilian with an award.

To nominate your Airmen/Civilian for Andersen's Best, contact your unit chief or superintendent explaining their accomplishments.
