337 - Orientations/Briefings

337th Assigned Personnel - all personnel will in process with the 337 ASUF and the US Embassy Human Resource Office.
USAF Personnel Exchange Program (PEP) Personnel - All PEPs are required to in-process with the Asia-Pacific Personnel Exchange Regional Office at HQ PACAF/A5IE, Hickam AFB HI en route to Australia to complete indoctrination and briefings. Additionally, all PEPs will in-process with the 337 ASUF and Embassy offices at the US Embassy, Canberra; it is preferred members and families process through the 337th en route to their duty location. Plan for up to 3 days at both PACAF/A5IE and the 337 ASUF; coordination for these stops will occur prior to receiving your orders and your orders will include the stops.
Other USAF Personnel - The 337 ASUF definitely prefers and strongly recommends all personnel in-process through the 337th (and Embassy offices) en route to your duty location. Doing so will ease your transition into the country and do much to prevent possible problems.
USA Military Personnel Exchange Program (MPEP) Personnel - All MPEPs are required to in-process with the US Army MPEP Administrator at the US Embassy in Canberra, Australia. This is required to coordinate with the Military Transportation office (MTO), to attend mandatory briefings and process forms and records. Two days TDY are authorized for all MPEPS not assigned with duty in Canberra. Please ensure coordination has been made in order to provide for this requirement and that your RFO/PCS orders include the appropriate annotations.
USN/USMC PEP Personnel - All Navy and Marine Corps Personnel Exchange Program personnel will in-process with the Navy PEP Administrator and Embassy offices at the US Embassy, Canberra; it is preferred members and families process through the Navy PEP en route to their permanent duty station. Plan for up to two or three days at the US Embassy. Canberra is an intermediate stop for all Navy and Marine Corps PEPs, for these few days, you are required to make hotel reservations for the days you will stay in Canberra, Australia.
NOTE: The 337th Air Support Flight (Air Force) Transportation Management Office (TMO) will handle your inbound shipments of House Hold Goods and state-side vehicle shipment.
