COLONEL BRANDON R. SHROYER
Colonel Brandon R. Shroyer serves as the Deputy Commander, 36th Wing, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. He is responsible for the conduct of IndoPacific Command's tanker task force, bomber task force, theater security packages, and contingency response operations from Andersen AFB. He is also tasked to ensure the successful employment, deployment, integration, and enabling of air and space forces from the most forward sovereign U.S. Air Force base in the Indo-Pacific Region. Here, he is responsible for the well-being of more than 8,000 military and civilian personnel on Andersen Air Force Base and supports Department of Defense installation management for Joint Region Marianas. Born and raised in San Diego, CA, Colonel Shroyer entered the Air Force in 2004, “Ready for War”, as a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He has completed multiple combat tours in operations over the Horn of Africa, Iraq and as the commander of the 774th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron, Bagram AB, Afghanistan. He has served in a multitude of operational and staff capacities at the squadron, group, wing, Headquarters Air Force and Combatant Command levels culminating as the Chief of the Space and Integrated Air and Missile Defense Division (J36) at Headquarters, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command. He is a command pilot with over 4,040 flight hours and more than 1280 combat and combat support hours in the C-17A, C-130J and KC-135R.
