36th Wing Equal Opportunity

The Equal Opportunity staff provides human relations education training, conducts formal and informal complaint inquiries and mediation of workplace disputes, to include issues within the civilian workforce, and coordinates E.O. complaint clarifications. Our office also performs wing climate assessments and provides awareness training on subjects relating to human relations (i.e., cultural diversity, sexual harassment, and team building).

Individuals are welcomed to use our services, but we encourage use of the chain of command and support early/lowest level resolution of any human relations issue.

EO Mission Statement: To improve mission effectiveness by promoting an environment free from personal, social, or institutional barriers that prevent Air Force members from rising to the highest level of responsibility possible based on their individual merit, fitness, and capability. 

To ensure mission effectiveness, the Equal Opportunity office evaluates personnel programs, policies and procedures to ascertain whether there are any barriers that limit or restrict equitable employment opportunities for open competition in the workplace.
