New Expanded Pool and Beach Hours
The following are Andersen Pool and Tarague Beach hours effective June 5:
Lap Swim
6 to 8 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday
11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday
6 to 7 p.m. Monday and Wednesday
Swim Team
Friday afternoon, Time to be determined
Open Recreation Swim
12 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday
Tarague Beach
10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Chapel Tithes and Offering Fund Account Manager Needed
The Andersen Chapel is in need of a Chapel Tithes and Offering Fund Account Manager. Applicants must pick up necessary paperwork at Chapel 2, bldg. 1623. Packages must be submitted to Tech. Sgt. Jennifer Fines at Chapel 2 by close of business June 15. For more information call 366-6139 or e-mail jennifer.fines@andersen.af.mil.
Arts and Crafts Classes
June 11 and 12 - Two-day Basic Crocheting Class from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Students may purchase supplies from the arts and crafts store, or bring their own yarn, needle and scissors to learn the chain and single crochet stitch to make a 47" X 61" blanket. Class fee is $25 for instruction only.
June 13 - Scrap Your-Own Chipboard Mini Album from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Students must bring 4X6 photos to create a fun and impressive book to share with family and friends. Students will produce a 6X6 chipboard memory book. Class fee is $25 and includes materials.
June 17 - Family Crafting from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. During this class, students will make a variety of items using the outline of their hands and also learn to make a family tree hand print painting. Class fee is $7 and includes materials.

Free Outdoor Movie Night
The HotSpot is sponsoring a free outdoor movie night June 13, starting at 7:30 p.m. The first movie will be the PG-rated comedy, "Hotel for Dogs," followed by the PG-rated comedy "Paul Blart-Mall Cop."
The popcorn is free with beverages available for sale. Call 366-2339 for more information. Movies will be shown, weather permitting.
Music Recital
The Youth Center will host their annual Music Recital June 13, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Youth Center. This free show will feature the Youth Center's music students performing a variety of numbers showcasing their talents. Everyone is encouraged to come out and listen to Andersen's young musicians. Trip to Chamorro Village
Outdoor recreation will be sponsoring a trip to Chamorro Village June 17, departing at 5:15 p.m. While there, participants will experience the local culture, tasty food and traditional entertainment. Patrons are advised to bring extra money along to shop for a variety of locally-crafted items. Cost is $10 per person. Patrons can sign-up in advance at Outdoor Recreation, or call 366-5197 for more information.
June Alignment Special at Auto Hobby Shop
Patrons may bring in a car to the auto hobby shop during June and receive $5 off an alignment. For more information call 366-2745.
Music Lessons Available
Music lessons for children and adults are available during lunch time at the Youth Center. Contact Mr. Dale at the Youth Center by calling 366-3490, or e-mail: youth1music@yahoo.com for more information.
Music Instructor Needed
The Youth Center is looking for an additional music instructor to handle an increase in the number of students wishing to take music lessons. Piano and/or guitar instructors preferred. If interested, please apply at the 36th Force Support Squadron Human Resources Office or call 366-6141 for more information.
