The U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy and units from the Japan Air Self-Defense Force are conducting Exercise Cope North 10-1 at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, from Feb. 7 until Feb. 19. The exercise is the latest in a series of bilateral exercises designed to enhance both countries' air operations. Since the first Cope North exercise in 1978, thousands of American and Japanese Airmen have honed skills that are vital to maintaining a high degree of readiness.
