Japanese and Americans join forces for humanitarian aid training

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Ren Forbes, 36th Airlift Squadron loadmaster, and Japan Air Self-Defense Force Tech. Sgt. Yuta Enoki, 402nd Squadron C-1 loadmaster, prepare for drop a low-cost, low-altitude bundle to Lukunor atoll, Federated States of Micronesia, Dec. 9, 2015, during Operation Christmas Drop. This year marks the 64th year of Operation Christmas Drop, which began in 1952, marking it the world's longest running airdrop mission. This is the first ever trilateral training event that includes additional air support from JASDF and Royal Australian Air Force C-130 aircrews. (U.S. Air Force photo by Osakabe Yasuo/Released)
