13th Bomb Squadron continues Global Deterrence mission
A B-2 Spirit taxis Feb. 23 after arriving at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. More than 250 Airmen and four B-2 Spirits, 509th Bomb Wing, 13th Bomb Squadron Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., began arriving here to replace the 23rd Expeditionary Bomb Squadron and its B-52 Stratofortress as the Pacific regions Continuous Bomber Presence. The bomber rotation to Andersen is aimed at enhancing regional security, demonstrating U.S. commitment to the Pacific region.
