Staff Sgt. Grant Rogers, NCO in charge of the flight kitchen here, logs orders placed by mission essential personnel who work after normal duty hours and for flyers that fly extended sorties. Sergeant Rogers and his team operate a 24-hour service facility and make about 7,000 meals per month to support the in-place and deployed mission at Andersen. “We see a differing operations tempo all the time because of the different airframes Andersen supports,” he said. To sustain mission requirements with the ops tempo constantly in flux, Sergeant Rogers and his crew have learned to adapt to ensure there’s never a break in service for Andersen’s military personnel meeting mission goals.
