Petty Officer 2nd Class Evan Morrow, Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron Two Five Aviation Warfare Systems Operator, is continuing his Naval service following a small ceremony held at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, Oct. 30 officiated by Lt. Geoff Nordling. AWS2 Morrow has been in the U.S. Navy since 2003 and will receive over $36,000 tax free for his five-year commitment.
Petty Officer Morrow reported to HSC-25 in July 2005 where he served as a search and rescue swimmer, aircrewman and crew chief. He has previously deployed to 7th Fleet aboard USS Essex where he flew in the Japanese islands, Philipines, Burma in support of Operations Cobra Gold '08, Balacataan '08 and Caring Response. AWS2 Morrow is currently deployed to Camp Buehring, Kuwait, with the 2515th Naval Air Ambulance Detachment flying essential medical vacuation missions into southern Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
